I'm thinking Yehoshua, ( does it mean redemption?) Not sure if it's a bit long and I don't like the nickname Shua.
What other names have a similer meaning

Among Sephardic I've seen Yehoshua associated with Salvador. As a Ladino name.

She meant the name Salvador was used, from Ladino, not that Latinos from El Salvador use the name.

Just to clarify, I don't know of any Jewish names that mean savior. The closest we have here - Yehoshua, Elisha, and Yeshaya - all mean some form of Hashem is my savior.
Important distinction for a Jew.

What is meant is "Hashem was my savior" - He saved me.
I want to "show thanks" to Hashem, what names "represent that"
