When I was a girl , it was fashionably illegal to wear black and brown together and we wore brown tights … 25 years later what are the rules ?

The rules now depend on where you live…. In chassidish Monsey matching tights to skirt is “nebby”…. Gone are the days of brown shoes, brown tights, brown skirt, brown top, brown glasses, brown headband….
Even the bows in the hair are contrasting or accent color… (denim dress - red bow, green dress - black bow…)
