There are TWO nights in the Jewish calendar that mikvah/intimacy is ASSUR. Those are 9 av and YK. That is it. Any other night it is allowed. Those are the only 2 nights that any mikvah will be CLOSED.

Many people hold there are certain nights they are only intimate if it's mikva night so I believe that was her question. Last night wasn't one of those.

I was telling her the HALACHA, not kabbala or minhagim.

Right. I'm pretty sure she knew that and asked about those other nights since she mentioned "it's not mikvah night", and we are in yom tov season.

Why be nasty a day after YK and not have a normal convo like I did?

There's no issue whatsoever having relations after YK afaik

But the attitude of some posters when asked for advice to only state the bear bones halacha and pretending that the SA and MB or somehow just "minhhig and chumra" is very disheartening.

@shabbatiscoming brings this up every time this question is asked.

I agree with the sentiment but in 1000% against the way it was stated

I just pointed it out. You were snarky. Very nice for the day after yom kippur.

And Im not sure why the bear bones of the halacha is so bad if that is what we learned.

Conversations don't start and end by each thread. @shabbatiscoming brings this up every single time s/o asks for advice.

Others do it too, but to her credit, shabbatiscoming consistently uses her name. The rest are usually anonymous.

The good thing is you're attacking under your SN too which is also uncommon.

And why cant I bring it up? Whats wrong with letting women know that there are 2 nights when a mikvah will 100% be closed? I dont see whats wrong with this. And yes, I will use my username. Ive been here almost 20 years. No reason to not post under my screen name.

I was responding to your passive aggressive HALACHA!!!! post

Bear bones halacha is a b'deved.
If strive for the best for everything in our lives, and we should definitely do the same for Hashem.

The relations issue is a sticking point, because the SA, our literal guide to Jewish life, is very clear how we should be living. And whenever someone brings it up here, it's always knocked as being extreme.

You could do whatever you want 🙂

You've sent the same message when people ask about RH, and I'm sorry to tell this to you, but it's not proper.

We live by the SA. The Kaff Hachaim (sefardi) and MB (ashkenazi) both say to refrain from RH night, even though the mikvah is open.

I didn't even know there were halachos about bear skeletons. I learn new things here all the time!
