What does the SA think about being nasty to someone right after YK? Proper or not?

You've sent the same message when people ask about RH, and I'm sorry to tell this to you, but it's not proper.

We live by the SA. The Kaff Hachaim (sefardi) and MB (ashkenazi) both say to refrain from RH night, even though the mikvah is open.

Why not?

Yes. It's all in the Mishna Bearura.

Conversations don't start and end by each thread. @shabbatiscoming brings this up every single time s/o asks for advice.

Others do it too, but to her credit, shabbatiscoming consistently uses her name. The rest are usually anonymous.

I still 100% disagree with your tone.

@shabbatiscoming thank you for saying what you learned - it is ALWAYS important to know what is basic halacha and what is chumra, minhag, hanhaga tovah, ā€œsensitivity,ā€ etc. Itā€™s essential to know what is what and I appreciate your knowledge! I also appreciate that you donā€™t put others down who learned differently, and that you have confidence in and are mekabel the yedias haTorah of the rabbanim who taught you.

@Molly Weasley - I see that you feel strongly about this and many other topics and that there is a right way to think and act. I do think thereā€™s a way to express what you learned or hold of without calling out anyone else in a negative way. Iā€™m sure you donā€™t intend to come across in a hurtful manner. I can only speak for myself, but I know I would have an easier time being receptive to your perspective if it were gentler and came across softer. Take from this what you will, something to consider as our kvitlach are going up in the next few days.

Gmar tov everyone!
