I recently started to grow in my hair and I have a sheitel macher appointment coming up. I was wondering how does it work when she inserts pins into the sheitel. How does my hair not get caught up in the pins so that I can take off the wig without my hair being stuck. Do I wear a hair net of some sort? A bathing cap?

I just wear a wig grip. But the style wigs that I wear don't have any pins.

Sheitel macher’s are careful. Also, let her take off the wig and they usually fix it up after.
If she doesn’t do it herself, ask her if she can please take it off so the pins don’t move out of place.
