I'd like there to be easy access for kids but for them to also be easy to remain neat.
Right now they're on the lower shelves of a regular bookshelf and they end up getting messed up all the time.

We keep one basket on the floor for the favorites and the rest on the shelf, and rotate so we're not reading the same 5 books all month, but kid has easy access to a handful

My kids bunkbed has drawers underneath, one drawer is the stuffed animal drawer and the other one is for books. I organize it once in a while, but usually it’s just thrown in there for easy access
