Yonah comes across as rather immature and self-centered too, despite the family he was raised in.

Thats realistic though. Happened to me, happened to others I know. My wonderful dh wasn't cut out for kollel, and he's doing amazing today but it was so unexpected and hard at first.

. its 15 years later and I'm mortified at how I treated my wonderful dh. I can relate so well to this story. yonah wants so badly to be a good husband and independently take care of his wife. I would never want my ds to be treated this way by a wife.
