Meat knishes with mushroom sauce
Meat is ground meat with sauteed onions, spices, flour, in a dough, either individual squares or one big roll
Mushroom sauce is just sauteed onions and fresh/canned mushrooms that can be spiced with soup mix or thickened with corn starch and poured over the knishes.
Can be served as an appetizer or a dressed up side at the main course.
Freezes great.
Oh yes please do share. From me pretty much you can freeze your cakes. I've got Ratatouille in the freezer but I have no idea how that will hold up defrosted. Icecream degrades in the freezer so . Help?? Kugel can be frozen can't it? If it's reheated thoroughly after?
