I’m looking to become a social media manager, and was wondering if anyone knows how much is the usual amount to charge? Do you charge per hour? Package?
Any other tips appreciated!

There’s a lot to take into account when it comes to price.
For starters will they be creating the content from scratch? Will they be running ads? Collaborating with influencers? How often will they be posting?

I did it for some years and had some packages which ranged in price based on number of hours per week. So I had a package for 2 hours a week, 3 hours a week, 5 hours a week, and one client had I think 10 hours a week--- it was years ago. But you paid more per hour the fewer hours contracted.
Each package had more deliverables as you went up in hours. So at 2 hours a week I could do A, B, C, but not X, Y, Z. For the 10 hour a week client, I did a lot of things I never would have imagined doing as a social media manager but he requested it and I had the time based on the contracted hours.
