- I have learned a lot about different hashkafos and gained greater appreciation for them

- I've gotten good emotional support when posting as amother

It's great for entertainment, but it definitely exacerbated my procrastination tendencies. There are days I wish I'd never heard of this site. One day when I'm strong enough I'll have my filter block it.

I joined because of a pretty rare medical issue I was having and this site came up when I was searching for information on that condition.
I have tried and enjoyed many recipes from this site. I make PKLs potatoe kugel every week.
I obviously enjoy the entertainment an hearing opinions from people all over the world.

Helped me find a good budgeting app
Helped me with various info about practical things in life (a good resource)
Great to share opinion, help someone as best as you can with the knowledge you have, or offload
I am not on it all the time just occasionally when taking a break from work or busy stuff

I concur with all of the above.

It's also a great platform for exchanging ideas and having conversations on literally any topic. There are a lot of very smart and eloquent people here, and it's great to see how many viewpoints any given topic can elicit.

And if the urge to discuss something happens at 2 am, there's no problem because Imamother is active 24/6.
