Does anyone send their son to Chofetz Chaim Cherry Hill? Can you tell me if they have high academic standards in both limudei kodesh and chol. If so do they have options or help for weaker students? Are they willing to work with boys that need extra help ? I heard it has grown tremendously, about how many boys per grade are there? And any other information you can share would be greatly appreciated!

My son goes there. He’s in 11th grade. He’s been there since 9th and he LOVES it. He’s not even coming home this shabbos. My sister plans on sending her son next year and her friend sent her son this year. My son says it used to be a little better because this year the 9th grade has so many kids and it used to be much smaller. The first year he was there, at the end of the year dinner they were going to separate the tables by grade. The boys said no because they’re all friends.
The biggest downside is, they don’t have any in shabbosim. Lakewood boys have the option of dorming or going home every day. We don’t live in Lakewood. There is a weekend bus that drops off and picks up to Elizabeth/Edison, Staten Island (if needed), Brooklyn, Far Rockaway, and Queens. I think that’s it. Maybe another stop.
The first year my son was there the dorms were in the rebbeims basements and the school were in trailers. Now they have a dorm building and is building a school building. It looks really nice. If you want to know more and if I can help, let me know.
