My baby has an ear infection that I want to avoid antibiotics for but she’s allergic to garlic.
Is there any way to treat naturally with other methods?

Are you nursing? Nothing beats breast milk. Flood her ear with some a few times a day. In my experience always resolved within 24 hours with this method.

Warm olive oil in her ear calms it down (cant remember if it treats it but defo remember it calming when I was a kid and constantly had infections.)

Just don’t wait too long. We accidentally did and ended up with a burst ear drum and that was miserable

Why don't you want to use antibiotics? Do you know it's an ear infection?

I once used warm olive oil on myself for ear pain and was miserable for next few days. Could barely hear from my ear. Would not recommend.

Anyone have a chiropractor that specializes in babies in/around lakewood?
Doctor confirmed it’s an ear infection told me I can try and wait it out a few days before putting on antibiotics

I used to use MR ear drops from health food store. Probably has garlic in it, don't know. Maybe health food shop has more remedies to try.
As a by the way,
Most ear infections are viral and don't need medication. Doctors push it cause they're lazy to do a cbc and check if it's viral or bacterial. Medication is only needed if it's bacterial. If it's viral, medication does NOT help. It just weakens the child's immune system. It's about 10 days for an ear infection to go away whether you give meds or not.

Reflexology. Helps every single time

Homemade garlic oil, lymphatic massage (check youtube) and chiropractor all work nicely

You can take her to someone that muscle tests and will tell you what to try, I did that and use an essential oil on her foot and it works magic

I know someone who didn’t give antibiotics and the infection went into the bones. Had to have a surgery.

Chiropractor isnt gonna take away an infection that’s active now. It can help with draining fluid before an infection arises. Give pain relievers. MR drops never worked for any of my kids nor did garlic mullein oil. What finally helped all of them was ear tubes. Bh no issues after that. But that’s only for when the ear infections are frequent.
