Maybe It means putting away a complete change of clothing away at a time. Shirt pants socks and underwear together. In the morning just pull an outfit.

I put matching sets that's matching for all the kids in a special part of the closet, that way when I want to dress them matching I just take out a pile of clothes and get them dressed instead of needing to look for each part of the set in each kid's shelf.

If you are often running late, it could be that you don't have an accurate perception of time.
What works for me is doubleing the amount of time I think I have.
Eg. If you think it takes you 10 minutes to get ready, make it twenty.
