Which hotel in Philadelphia is safe for a family to stay at? I heard that some areas aren't safe.
TIA

I live in Manhattan so there are lots of things that I’m Comfortable with and frankly don’t even notice. I’ve stayed in kimpton and Wyndham both in historic district and residence inn which is downtown and had good experiences each time

Would you recommend any specific hotel for a family? Looking for close to Philadelphia zoo. Thank you

Homewood suites is probably best for a family.
There might be others closer to the zoo though.
(It’s about a 10 min drive)

Seems like all hotels in the area have bad reviews. Think we'll just sleep at home and leave early morning. It's a long drive, we thought it would be easier to sleep over.

We stayed in Staybridge Suites in Mt Laurel/Cherry hill. Not as close to the attractions but near minyan and some food.
