How many pairs of pants does he have? Shirts?
What are important things that are easy to forget?

7 shirts, 4 pairs of weekday pants, 1 Shabbos.

If you sent him to camp before, it's pretty similar packing, just obviously yeshiva clothing only. Also, remember that he will need detergent in yeshiva and money for laundry, canteen, bus rides home etc.

My son is away all week, comes home for Shabbos.

We have 2 full sets of clothing: 7 pants, 7 shirts, Pj's, underwear, tzitzis. Every weekend one set goes in the laundry/ dry cleaners while the second set goes to school.

It's a lot of clothing, but it's the most stress-free method for me.
