Can bone in chicken cooked in a sauce be frozen?

Definitely.

(They can also be defrosted, warmed up in the sauce, and eaten with much enjoyment.)

If it's a roux based sauce, that sometimes breaks down after being frozen. Other than that, yes, it can be frozen after cooking.
