My landlord is being very threatening.
I have always paid my rent on time but he isn't honest and he's looking for ways to take advantage. Is it ok for me to cancel my security check? The bank told me it's ok but I don't want to end up with legal ramifications. But if he deposits my check it will be a terrible thing.

You may cancel the check but you need to check if there's are any legal repercussions. You may consult with שי"ל
