We usually do a 5-6 day getaway end of the summer as a family. Looking for a new place to go, up to 8 hour drive from Lakewood
(Need to be near minyan)
In the past we’ve done New Hampshire , Cape cod Ma, Lancaster. We’ve enjoyed them all immensely. We like a relaxed environment but with fun activities for the kiddos.
we enjoy gorgeous nature, water, boating, hikes …
History and museums are not our thing.
Children are 3,7,9.
Aside from Niagara , any other ideas?

I’m thinking it would be great to rent an air bnb with a pool but that would probably be further down south. So perhaps Virginia Beach or North Carolina ?

Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires (usually has a minyan in late summer) and Pittsfield/Lenox Mass (there is a Chabad in Lenox.)

What about Virginia? Interested in scenic nice places, historical doesn't interest as much
