This year I went to visit my mom in Miami for a week with my two youngest kids (my three older ones were in camp and my husband was in Israel) and we went as a family to Norwich, CT for a week from the 27th-2nd.

No that was the biggest problem. We could not return the car to different airports in different countries so we had to fly in and out of Calgary. The last days travel- drive from Montana back to Calgary and then the flight back to NY was long and tough.

We went camping near Pittsburgh PA. Hope to have a better trip next year!

We went to Bethel,Maine, rented an Airbnb in the mountains, visited Portland for 2 of the days. Went on a train ride along the Casco Bay, visited Old port, a cute Portland shops area, outdoor entertainment. Another day did a cruise to see the islands and lighthouses in Portland, beautiful day!
Went hiking by waterfalls in Grafton notch state Park. Went to Gem museum. Went miniature golfing. Also stumbled upon some gorgeous gardens which was really nice! Wanted to do some biking and canoeing, paddle boarding but didn't work out, but it was part of the plan.
