I want notifications to pop up on my locked screen that I have received a text or whatsapp but I don't want to be able to see the actual message.
My kids are getting bigger and I don't appreciate that they can read my text messages when they pop up on the screen.
is there a way to do this?

Go to settings
on the search bar type in notifications a
Go into notifications
Right away after display as you will see
“Show Perviews”
Go into show previews
Select either unlocked or never
Unlocked the notification will still show when your phone is unlocked
Never will never show
