This is the fourth bag of flour in half a year that I’ve bought that was infested with weevils. I’m so sick of deep cleaning my pantry and tossing out every grain based product. Are there any brands of flour that don’t carry bugs?

Did you buy them all in the same store? Perhaps that’s the issue and not the brand

I buy pre sifted and keep it in the freezer.

This is what I do:
Freeze the flour for at least 48 hours immediately after purchase. This will kill any eggs. Then put the flour into a plastic bag or container with a tight seal. I use plastic bags with twist ties.

I buy my flour in different places. Heckers I buy from one of two grocery stores and the kings Arthur I order from Walmart

Keep everything in airtight containers so it doesn't spread everywhere

I guess I’ll freeze first and then transfer to an airtight container. Annoying but I’m sick of these bugs
