I use it for my dairy sensitive kids. Cow is much more irritating than goat

is it soft sweet cheese or hard salty?
havent worked out the price but is it more expensive than cows?

More expensive than cow. One of my kids is cow sensitive, so I buy these along with one other brand. The child in question likes it melted on other ingredients but not in large quantities.

Haolam sells soft, spreadable goat cheese and also goat mozzarella slices. I like the softer goat cheese. You can spread it or crumble it.

The cheese guys. Thise come in a small block. I keep the Haolam slices for when my kid wants to make grilled cheese or something, the blocks for when I make her a lasagna or similar.

Sort goat cheese (chèvre) is like a spreadable cream cheese. Denser than whipped, a bit softer than the blocks. I prefer Kirkland brand (not CY and found in the non-kosher section of Costco). I find the CY brands have a stronger funk to them, not our favorite. In general, chèvre is great with honey, fruit. We eat it really quickly.
