DD7 often has really awful bad breath. She was at the dentist recently and they said that just by looking at her, they could tell she's a mouth-breather which is likely contributing to that. DD also has giant tonsils. She's been to multiple ENTs who all said not to shave/remove the tonsils (she did have her adenoids removed as a toddler). I was also told it's possible she might have post-nasal drip and was advised to use Flonase but DD is VERY stubborn and refuses to use it. Where do I go from here? Is it possible for me to correct the mouth-breathing on my own? Is there anything I should be doing about the tonsils? (She has strep often as well.)
