I have the cybex priam and the Cybex buggy board only allows child to stand. I’m wondering if I should get a different brand that allows for sitting. In your experience, is a sitting option a must-have? Child is 2.5.

I had a buggy board with a seat for my 2.5 year old, I think he sat on it only once The rest of the time he liked to stand to see what was going on. Obviously it depends on your child, but in my opinion it is definitely not a must-have.

When I had a 2yr age gap, I found the buggyboard with seat really useful. Ds was tired and he didn't like standing for so long. This was in the days before we owned a car and I was routinely doing walks of 40mins-1hr daily. I think for short walks they don't need to have where to sit.
I also found the scooter great for when ds was more like 3. He would go much greater distances with his scooter than walking (and at twice the speed of walking).
I bought my buggyboard second hand.
