I love it
Love the statuses I follow
Love the chit chat on family groups etc
But I think it makes me addicted to my phone
I was gonna go full on kosher phone
but my husband thinks to start with deleting whatsapp
Has anyone done this?
Can you tell me how it went for you?

I just did this! Not on purpose. My phone broke and I just didn't install it on my new phone. That was before pesach. Highly recommend it.
I use it on desktop so I catch up a few times during the day. Anyone important (husband, morah etc) knows to text if I don't reply. Sitting down to a computer makes it more intentional.
Somehow on my phone I'd waste time having conversations...always replying immediately... (btw I always had notifications muted)... it somehow makes me waste time less.
I never watch statuses either way.
I work from home and don't use it for my job. Like someone in school administration or running a camp or something may need it on them. But it works for me rn to have it on my laptop only.
