I'm looking for some advice and perspective. I have been on the job hunt for quite some time now after taking a break from work 4 yrs ago when my baby was born. Now that she's older and goes out, I really feel the need for an additional source of income.

I would love to work as a saleslady in clothing store , or in the fasion industry, and I've been actively applying and interviewing for similar positions. However, I keep facing rejection after rejection, and it's starting to make me question myself. I feel like I present myself well. I'm put together, intelligent, confident, And kind. But despite my best efforts I don't seem to be getting any offers or feedback from places I interview at.

This whole experience has been quite disheartening for me. I'm wondering if some of you have gone through similar or the same. I'm now considering investing in something I really enjoy and starting my own venture. I believe it will come with it's own set of challenges . Learning curves, financial investments and uncertainties. However, after struggling to find a job for so Long, maybe this is a sign that their's something bigger and better waiting for me in life.

I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice or shared experiences from those who have been in similar situations and why this is happening to me is it normal? It's started lowering and doubting myself if anything is missing or wrong with me (

Thank you all for listening 🎶

Thank you for posting. Your post was very relatable. I went through similar. Id recommend a career coach. There can be many variables as to why you're not getting the job you want and as to what you should do going forward. Hatzlacha!

Thanks for your advice.
Do you know of any recommendations?
Do they help?
I wasn't aware there's such a thing like a coach.

There are career coaches and consultants who can help. Depending on what you're looking for, it can depend who you should speak with. Some can give you resume advice, interview coaching, etc. and some can take a step back and have you take an aptitude test to determine your strengths and where you should invest them in a career, if you're unsure what steps to take.
