Thank You, Hashem! Segulah of R' Masya ben Charash

I promised to publicize when my yeshua came about and I am doing so here with so much gratitude to the Ribbono Shel Olam. I also want to give some detail in the hope that maybe it will help others.

I recently went through some very mysterious OB-Gyn issues, beginning with an unexpected (surprise) pregnancy, which, right after I came to terms with it, ended in sudden miscarriage, then a couple months later I found a lump in a private area and suddenly had post-coital bleeding and a polyp was found on my cervix and sent for biopsy. This whole conflagration of circumstances put me into an absolute panic and I was really afraid that something serious was going on. The doctors didn't really understand what was happening with me so they couldn't really calm me down yet. They did tests and were waiting for them to come back.

On Motzei Pesach, I read on Imamother about the segulah of R' Masya ben Charash. I have to point out that I really am not a segulah person. But I then heard of the same segulah randomly from another group and I was in so much emotional angst that I decided to try it.

Firstly, the segulah itself: I found to be absolutely amazing and so inspiring. Saying the tehilim so many times, and especially Perek 86, which has the Yud-Gimmel Middos and also alludes to various tzaros, was just so comforting and uplifting. I focused on the connection with the Ribbono Shel Olam and how He is Hakol Yachol. Then I pledged a significant amount of money to tzedakah and I took upon myself a kabbalah to say Asher Yatzar from a card as much as possible. (Note: My husband, as kalt a litvak as they come, came in, saw a pan of candles and asked if I was holding a seance in our kitchen that morning!! 😄😆😂)

It was the day of my doctor's appointment and I had asked, in the segulah, to get a clean bill of health that day, and was really hoping to get my instant miracle. But instead, the doctor wanted to do more testing and couldn't give me any definitive answer on whether or not I was okay. Still, I experienced a new sense of peace that replaced my previous hysteria, which was definitely a miracle! Now, three weeks later, I am so grateful to thank Hashem publicly because all the tests came back clean and fine and I got that yeshua that I davened for. הודו לה' כי טוב, כי לעולם חסדו!

I just have to say that I have done some segulos/havtachos/kabbalos in the past that have not "worked" and this is not a vending-machine religion where you put in your quarter and out pops your gumball. But that disclaimer, to me, does not take away from my gratitude to Hashem that He has taken me through this recent scare and brought me to the other side, that He has restored my peace of mind and that He continues to give me the biggest gift ever--the gift of good health.

The purpose of my post is really just to inspire, not to make anyone bitter or jealous. I hope I've done okay on that...
