I recently had to go off Dairy because I am nursing and my baby had a very severe case of cmpa.
I am usually a pretty big coffee drinker and I drink it with lots of milk and real cream and when I tried to replace it with dairy substitute I just couldn't swallow it because I'm used to that creamy thick milky, coffee. So I went off coffee, but I'm trying to find some other hot drink that's not tea that I can drink in the morning that does not require any milk or milk substitutes cuz I don't like any of their tastes.
I did try one brand of parve hot cocoa and it was ok, but I'm wondering if there are any better Brands out there that taste good with just hot water.
Anyone know any brands that would have a rich chocolatey taste and not taste watery?
Thanks!

Kemach makes the best pareve one in my opinion!
(I also went off of dairy when I was nursing my son, so I feel you!)

I love target brand! I was using ko-sure for a long time, it's good flavorwise but you need to add milk to get the thick, creamy richness
The target brand is so good, especially the Caramel flavor

I don’t have any hot cocoa mix suggestions, but which milk substitutes did you try? They’re not all the same…

Kemach is great (we actually prefer the one without added sugar)

“Without added sugar” is a euphemism for artificial sweetener.

I've tried the ones mentioned above (Koshur, Kemach etc) but they all taste like fake chocolate. The best one I found is Le Chocolate (made by the same Le Chocolate as the chocolate stores). They use real ingredients and doesn't clump together when mixing. My kids love it too. I just do way less powder than what they recommend...
