B"H my girls are really starting to develop their sister relationship (in between fighting).

Tonight, the oldest (barely under 4) did something that my husband disciplined her for. She went back to bed and I heard her telling her sister (basically 2.5) all about it. The 2.5 year old responded, echoing back what her sister said and asking if she was upset.

We're sitting in the living room trying so hard not to laugh and lose the battle when we hear in a pitiful voice:

"Yeah, I'm almost 4!" (she was complaining that she was being treated like a baby)

So cute! Lotsa nachas!
I cracked up when I heard my 2 1/2 year old ask my 5 year old "Can I talk to you for a minute" in her squeaky little voice. They get so big so quickly!

And my own cute story (may I?)
I overheard my 5 yr old and almost-3 yr old talking in bed.

5 - "I am the oldest. I am called the Bechor.
(as an afterthought:) Tori is the baby.

3: so what am I?

5: (thinks a little) you're nothing.

3: (gets insulted) No I'm not!!
(thinks a little...) - well.. so... well, so I'm the PRINCESS!!

I could've eaten them up had they not deserved a petch for talking at that hour :0)
