On the discussion of frum furniture, I decided to do some research to find not frum furniture sources that have 10,12,14 feet tables.
The only place where I saw these options were on various "Amish furniture" sites. They custom make wooden tables for under 5k. This is significantly cheaper than frum stores.
Anyone know if these places are legitimate?
Any know anyone who went this route?
They are custom made and solid wood - does that mean that they are going to last 10+ years?
The quotes from the frum stores for 10' tables were 8k minimum.

I live around Amish, and their furniture is extremely well built. As long as it’s a genuine Amish site and not some scam. And yea they last years. Shipping might be insane if you’re unable to pickup tho

I live in Baltimore and we got a custom table from gish's amish furniture for $1k, it extends up to 12 feet. Maybe it was during a special sale, but theyre not $5k, for sure. They make up to 24 ft. We got to pick the color, shape and leg style, and it's very well built. They also have the possibility to add on to the table if we need longer. We've had it for 4 years so far, and we are very happy with it. Very sturdy, and well worth the money!

Maybe stupid question - being that they're Amish - but is there a website? I'd love to see what's available. My table is nearing the end of its life.

I have ordered several pieces of furniture, including a dining room table from a website selling Amish furniture called cabinfield.com and couldn't be happier. They offer beautiful handmade solid wood Amish furniture at a good price (it's not cheap since handmade, solid wood furniture is not cheap). The tables can be customized to size.

I grew up near Amish towns and we used to order furniture from them in person. High quality pieces for fabulous prices
