My husband really likes the name Chaim Zanvel - after the Ribnitzer Rebbe. I really do not like the name, and I am looking for nickname suggestions.
And would it be too much to have 3 names?

Similar, I know a Chaim who couldn't pronounce Chaim so when he was about 1.5 he started to call himself Kai and it stuck. Like the first syllable of "kite" in case it isnt clear

Thanks for the suggestions, I know a girl nicknamed Chai. I think I like Chemi more than Chezi... what about naming 3 names, is that just too much, a mouthful? Though it will really only be used for aliyah...

Chaim is a beautiful classic name and meaning and will probably grow on you, if you name your child that. BTDT.

regarding 3 names, it's really not bad. I know a few people with 3 names and it's a non-issue.
