I have the opportunity to go to the water park during a women-only rent out.
I'm a middle age, slightly overweight woman. I'm trying to figure out whether I will enjoy or not.
It would be a big shlep and require many details to make it work for me.
Would you go?

Why would it be a big shlep? They have a massive wave pool, a lazy river, multiple hot tubs… I really enjoyed it. You should definitely go!

I'm not sure why your weight is relevant to this question. Take a look at their website to see what they offer and see if it speaks to you. Personally, DH and DS love water parks and can't wait for men-only events, while I don't enjoy waterslides and only go if DD needs someone to watch her.

Big shlep cuz I don't live nearby. It would be a 3 hour car ride each way.

I wouldn’t if I were you since you’ll only enjoy 2-3 things. I’m not a big fan of waterparks but that’s just me.

I'm sure everyone there will not be a supermodel.

2-3 hours is a long ride, though.

What type of experience are you hoping to have?

Are you going by yourself or with people?

Are you asking if other middle aged women will be there vs teens?

I wouldn't travel two to three hours to go to a water park unless I were taking a child - so I would be doing it for them.

Are you going with a group of friends you would have fun with? That would be another reason why I would go someplace because the actual "event" would be secondary to the outing with people I enjoy being with.

That is a huge amount of time to spend in a car to do what - float in some water. If I were that desperate, I would take a bath. LOL

But the website has a description of all of the attractions -

I would. How often does an opportunity for an all women water park come up?

I’ve been to a lot of water parks and it’s by far the best (largest, cleanest, newest, most things to do). If you enjoy water parks then go for it! If it’s not your thing, don’t bother!
