Is there a concept and does anyone know of therapists who help with the relational aspect of caring for an elderly parent or grandparent who is struggling to accept their new physical limitations.
You must preserve their dignity and respect but stop them engaging in harmful behaviours. Eg if they are not supposed to bend down ( to pick some thing up that fell ect) or eat or drink something their body cannot tolerate anymore.
