For us, Shmini Atzeres and Simchas Torah are the most disorganized days. We only end up doing one meal on Shmini Atzeres day. The rest of the meals are either in Shul or without the men who stay in Shul for Kiddish and hakafos.

Kind of nice since I'm only preparing for one meal.

What is your schedule like?

4.

Simchas Torah at my parents we usually becomes fleishigs while the men do the kiddush in shul. Most shuls don't give one for women around me. My father's does, but they give cheese cake. Mad

Last year I was home. I probably ate the main alone when I got hungry/fed the kids. And washed for challah and fish with dh.

I'll be at my IL this year and I'm bringing a main along for this reason. Blaming it on the kids but it's really for me. LOL don't tell MIL. I don't wanna starve until 4pm.

We eat 2 meals each day with the Simchas Torah meals being pretty chaotic and the men being hyped up. It's all part of the fun.
