I want to do hands on activities to make supper with my kids ages 3-5...
Think like make your own pizza.
Any other ideas?

Hot dogs and Buns, they can smear the ketchup and put the hotdogs inside.

Make your own sandwich, make your own wrap, make your own taco, pretty much make your own anything.
When my kids were that age I just made whatever I was making and let them do any part of it that was appropriate for small kids. Sprinkle seasoning on the chicken. Shape meatballs. Toss the salad. It wasn't a special activity. It was just cooking together.

So unfortunately my kids are a tad picky and tacos, sushi and sandwiches wouldn't work...
For poster who mentioned hot dogs, they would probably enjoy more making like the sefer torah Frank's and blanks and then egging it so I appreciate that idea!
