When had covid I had zero appetite. I was very sick with a high fever. Someone brought me Powerade and it really made me feel strong.
When dh had covid he kept asking for chicken soup.

I didn't have much appetite the first two or three days. After that, comfort food, all the way!

My husband felt decent but lost all smell and taste. He ate only rice crispies and milk, he said the texture wasn’t gross like other foods.

Nothing tasted good but I forced myself to eat because I was told it's key to recovering.

ice cream some of the days, spicy indian food many of the other days, we wound up getting double our delivery order and ate through all of it (and we can still eat it to this day). the cold helped on the sore throat days, and the spicy was amazing the days when tasting other things didn't work

This. Dh went almost three days without eating and one night he got delirious. Hatzolah said it wasn't the covid it was the lack of nutrition.
No matter what he eats, even if its just crackers and applesauce, make sure he's putting something in his mouth.

Thanks for all of the input.
What an interesting range from bland to spicy.
Cereal and milk was ok for ds (though he tasted non-existant strawberry flavor). I think we'll try chicken soup next.
