My husband did an education/special education degree through an online university out of state.
Does anyone know which tests he needs to be certified in NY? I believe there are 4.

He should create a TEACH account and read the requirements there. He needs more than just tests to receive teaching certification.
Does he already have certification from another state and he just wants to transfer it?

I believe the tests are:
Educating All Students (EAS)
Content Specialty Test (CST)
edTPA
There are also some workshops to attend. It will say all of it in the search results on that page as well as how to sign up for everything. Good luck. I consider myself a pretty competent person but trying to navigate the NYS requirements with an OOS degree was a bureaucratic nightmare.
