Did you serve alcohol at your son's bar mitzvah?
Particularly interested in Lakewood norms.
I know a lot of my guests would very much appreciate it.

I feel like wine and then just a drop of scotch for l'chaims is appropriate in any circle.

Not in Lakewood, but recently made an in-town Bar Mitzvah with a good bottle of dry wine on each men's table and sweet wine on each women's table, and then several bottles of schnapps on a side table. There was very little leftover.

I think it’s typical to put out whiskey. Many times it stays near the father just to make sure only ppl who should be drinking are.
We had a head table and DH had a few bottles there and ppl would come up to make a l’chaim.

Awesome, thanks guys.
Just wanted to make sure this was not something that is 'not done' in Lakewood.
