Every week we have Bnos at different girl's houses. I have been sick for a long time and have not been able to host at my house. My daughter has been dissappointed about it, but she understands. Last month my parents planned a trip to come visit me and my mother agreed to help me out so I can host at my house the Shabbos she is here. I spoke to the Bnos head and she agreed to let me have it at my house this week. My daughter was so excited. She cannot stop talking about it, it is so important to her. I just now recieved the Bnos calendar for this month, and it is going to be at someone else's house. How do I explain this to my daughter. I am crying for her. I will not have another opportunity for the duration of the school year. She has been so patient and helpful and understanding about everything. I am worried this will be too much for her.

But thecalendars with the locations were already mailed out. There is no way to let the other parents know of the switch on such short notice.

host a party at your home on sunday and have all her friends come over for pizza and games in honor of her grandparents being there....but although she is seven and dissapointments are hard, you did all you can do and at this point HaShem is in control....tell her that! the way you handle it is how she will...be positive yet understanding. show her the way to handle lifes imperfections....maybe even have a special outing with only her and a couple friends.....

as you see there are many options here!
