I am making schnitzel for supper tonight and I need to fry it because my oven is broken. how do I keep the corn flake crumbs on when I fry it...they usually dont stick. any other recipes???

I put egg and then breadcrumbs and it usually stays on. you should really but flour before the egg and that should help.

egg usually works. sometimes I use italian dressing instead. the breadcrumbs usually stick

dry well with flour
dredge in egg
cover well in cornflake/breadcrumbs
shake off excess crumbs
optioal: add salt and garlic powder to flour,egg,crumbs-it's tastier.
heat a generous amount of oil in a pan on a med-low flame.
Fry on one side until golden (around 5-7 min.) turn over and fry for another 5 min. Turn only once for the crispiest cutlet.

I use 3 baggies
flour
eggs
flavored breadcrumbs
shake n fry
