I’m not a Trump fan, but Nikki Haley was one of the best appointments he made. This is upsetting.

No, she resigned in advance of 45's speech. He claimed on Twitter that he'd have a big announcement with her.

I read that she told him 6 months ago. She said this job is way too hard for her. Big loss!!!

I'm curious if it was related to something personal or political. I would be surprised if she resigned because the job was "too hard" for her (as a previous poster wrote). Did she actually say that on the record?

Whatever Trump announces, it better be "yuge", because Haley deserves the best, most influential position she can get.

I just heard on the radio! I am so disappointed.
The conjecture is she has two small children and wants to be around more.
My first thought was, 2020. But then I heard that she said she'd be campaigning for POTUS. I still haven't heard the actual speech.

Al tivtechu benidivim but I can still hope that whoever takes over will have the mindset and the strength of character she's exhibited. Hashem yeshalem gemula.

Ambassador Haley's children are in their late teens. She's been serving in high pressure positions for a long time and I will just take her departure at face value — she'd like to take a break. But it's a great loss; the woman is made of steel.

I look forward to voting for Nikki Haley for President in 2024!

She never said its hard for her. She said in her own words that she believes in term limits and feels she has accomplished an amazing amount at her position and that new blood is always a good idea.
