My three year old son was watching a video of the rebbe giving lekach.
All of a sudden he got up, walked over to the screen, put his hand out to the rebbe and asked: Please Rebbe can I have some?
My heart melted.
Im sad our children dont have what we had in our childhood: Life with the Rebbe. Videos help but nothing replace the physical presence.
We were lucky!!!

but you kne something I feel it till today. I started writing to the rebbe and it's unbelievable how he pin points and knows exactly what is going on in one's life, who through the letter he talks about it etc, and how he knows your thoughts. it's incredible and it's happened to me more than once.

its true that you can connect to the rebbe through his seforim etc but NOTHING replace the actual physical presence. As human beings, to connect fully we need to see or to be able to see the person.

yes ... what a brocha we had - uncomprehendable if you have never experienced a farbrengen or getting a dollar and a brocha ...
what the kids have now is just a minute portion of that awesome experience ...
better than nothing ...
