Someone just told me that the dry cleaning places wash the white shirts in powered starch. Does anyone do this at home? Does it work? How do you use it? Is liquid better?
Thanks, any tips would be appreciated!

for more info than you ever want to know about starch. this is from a company that sells laundry starch, but you could use plain cornstarch just as well.
Liquid starch is a lot less bother than cooking up your own starch concentrate. Plus, if you don't use up all your homemade starch concentrate at once, it will spoil unless you refrigerate it. It is, after all, nothing more than very refined cooked cereal.

thanks chen! I read it but now I'm rethinking it unless there's an already prepared liquid starch. Anybody buy that?
