As Yom Hashoah draws to a close here in Israel - finally a Blog post! With guest blogger, Ahava Ehrenpreis (aka my mother) reminding us, ever so poetically, that every person lost in the Holocaust was an individual with a past and present - and the potential for a future, and our responsibility to remember them. Presenting her "Memorial" to the young woman she "met" one day ... suspended forever in a gallery in Washington DC.

Thank you for the link.
I also feel the terms "Six Million" or "Holocaust" diminishes from the horror.
(As I cringe at the category "survivor".)
As stated, each person was an individual with a distinct past, relationships and would have had a very unique future had he or she not been murdered.
