3-yr old DS learned song "The Farmer and the Dell" somewhere - I think from a musical toy. Anyway, when I heard him singing the first verse this is what he said,

" The Farmer takes the Wipes.... hi ho the derry-oh the farmer takes the wipes"

Is that adorable or what?

It's funny how toddler's pick up stuff. My 27 month old, she always announces when she's making in her diaper. So I started telling her, OK, are u finished, so mommy can change you? So now she says: Finish, Mommy change you! I keep trying to explain to her that she has to say "change ME", but ... LOL

My first son also had pronoun issues. He would ask, You want a drink." So I would help him, "Say, 'I want a drink.'" And he would insist, "No, YOU want a drink." He's 16 now. He eventually figured it out.

When I came out of my room this morning after getting dressed my 3 1/2 year old said the funniest thing

" mommy what are you wearing? you look kinda weird!!"

I couldn't hold back the laughter!!

One of my sons made a cute comment when he was 2.
When I put on my sheitel, he knows we're going out. Usually I put it on after I am all dressed. Once I put it on while I was still in my robe. He saw me and said, "No no no, Mama, take off your robe, don't go outside in your ROBE!"

But that wipes thing is hysterical!!

Number One Mommy, one of my kids also has adjustment issues when I get new shoes. I have to explain that the old ones broke and then we get rid of them together as a finalization ceremony. Very Happy

Hi all, thanks for sharing your cute kid stories too.

My daughter is pretty funny, too. She is 22 months old and crazy about my dad, who she calls "Saba" -- but she can't figure out how to say "Savta", so she always calls my mom Saba, too.

Finally yesterday she came up with a new name for my mom, she called her "other Saba". My mom got a good chuckle out of that one.

I used to love miami boys quior. When I was little I used to call it yourami

My son calls my mother in law Bubby Lili he didn't realize that was her first name so he calls my father in law Zaidy Lili. We got such a good luagh!!
