I was at a kiddush and had a great salad with hearts of palm, pickles, maybe black olives... anyone ever hear of it??

No, but a make a great hearts of palm salad with Hearts of palm, cut grape tomatoes, purple onion, pickles, mayo and salt.

Here is a recipe for hearts of palms, water chestnuts, mushrooms, snow peas and lettuce

Salad
1 Bag Lettuce Mix
1 package/s Snow Peas
1 can/s Heart Of Palm Drained And Sliced
1 can/s Water Chestnuts Drained
1 Red Pepper Sliced
1/2 cup/s Mushrooms Sliced
Dressing
1/2 cup/s Olive Oil
1/2 cup/s Vinegar
1 shake Oregano Salt And Pepper

Preparation
Put the bag of lettuce mix in a bowl. Mix the rest of the salad ingredients together with the dressing. Pour that on top of the lettuce.
