I stand alone in the dark corner, rejected. Eager hands reach out but none ever select me to play with. I long to be useful, I long to fulfill the purpose for which I was created. Little hands waver as big decisions are played out in front of me, but I am relegated to the little dark corner as others are chosen. I need to feel needed. It isn’t even my fault I got to be this way. I know I don’t have what the big guys have to offer, but I am still functional, and I have something they don’t have. I can color your world in ways you never thought possible. I can add richness and dimension to your life. Don't push me to the side because I look different.
I remain, the broken crayon in the corner of the box.
