Anyone know names/numbers of seit agencies in SI?
Are there ones who do the placements in jewish schools? Are there enuf cases that one can fill a decent caseload (20 hr/week) in frum settings? Are there enuf so you can be in ANY setting without running around?
I've done seit for 7 years in Brooklyn but I'm in Jersey now and the commute's getting to me.
Would love any other SI employment ideas - I'm certified for general and special ed and literacy (reading specialist)
Thanks!

From what I've heard it's a huge pain to get NY certification transferred to NJ. There are politics involved. I also was under the impression that NJ is already flooded with teachers in both general and special ed. But I'd love to be proven wrong on either count!

NJ is very much flooded with teachers, but there is some room in EI for DI therapists, especially if you are willing to go to less favorable areas. The Jewish areas of Jersey are flooded with DI therapists but if tell the agencies you'll go to the ghettos or other non Jewish neighborhoods, you will get lots of cases.
I dont know anything about transferring NY cert to NJ cert though...
