YICH!
Saladmate Thousand Island dressing has food coloring in it!
I wonder if all their Salad Dressings have food coloring.
Many may not care, but if I eat salad, its because I want to know that Im feeding my body healthy natural ingredients. So the salad is super healthy but Im topping it wuth yellow dye infused dressing.
Yich yich and yich again!
Which kosher dressings are all natural and taste good, and last a while in the fridge?
Or, what are Salad Dressing recipes with 4 ingredients or less, that taste professional?

Why would you think salad made (or any bottled dressing) is made of healthy ingredients?? If you’re want healthy, make your own.

Their dressings are full of nasty ingredients.
I've yet to find a commercial salad dressing with truly clean ingredients.
I make my own with avocado oil mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, a bit of maple syrup or honey, salt, pepper.
Or stick to evoo and lemon juice.

It's a known thing that purchased salad dressing basically defeats the purpose of eating a salad. Healthier and much cheaper to make your own and store in the fridge for the week. Especially a thousand island dressing that's like 3 ingredients

Yeah I just make my own. The only dressing I actually buy, is Italian.
It's hard to find commercial items that are clean and healthy.

Thanks all! Imho, even if its a tiny percentage, coloring doesnt belong in salad dressing!
Im looking for mayo-based dressings that are easy to make.
Thanks again!

Its bottled dressing, what did you think?
You can make a balsamic vinegar one, pesto dressing, honey mustard dressing, lemon salt and pepper

Yeah, food coloring is simply unnecessary. It’s in yellow banana peppers as well.
But where does the expression “yich” come from? Never heard it.

I dont speak much Yiddish but living in Brooklyn, its a common expression. Interestingly it means the same as "Yucky/Yicky/Icky". (Disgusting..)
