I put the Gefilta on the pan then put a little hot water with sugar let it melt pour it all over the fish then put black pepper and a little Paprika for color. Bake covered for about an hour on 400 Degrees. Comes out yummy!

I usually put it in a loaf pan that fits it nicely, but if I don't have it, then you can just use a sheet of aluminum foil. I take the gefilte out of the paper. I then either put it in the loaf pan or on the aluminum foil. I pour a bit of olive oil (maybe a tablespoon) over it, then sprinkle pepper and garlic powder. For the loaf pan, I don't cover it. For the aluminum foil, I fold it around the gefilte and seal it tight. I then put it in the oven at 350 for about an hour and a half. Enjoy!

Dh usually makes the fish for Shabbos. He takes the fish out of the wrapper and then:
1) Pours paprika all over it
2) Pours marinara sauce all over it and slices up peppers to bake with it.
3) Pours whatever he's in the mood for...
He bakes it at 350 for 1.5 hours, and it's always good!
If you don't mind slightly more patchka (maybe five minutes worth, for a much prettier look), my mother defrosts it a bit, makes patties, and dips them in oil with lots of paprika in it. She then lays the patties on an aluminum pan with sliced onions, and bakes for 20 minutes first side, 15 minutes second side at
350 degrees.

I put a thin layer of water in a greased loaf pan. Unwrap fish, put in pan, sprinkle season salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika. Bake at 350. I've baked covered and uncovered, depending on what else is in my oven. Bake till I remember about it, 1.5-2 hours. Drain water.

I leave it in the wrapper, put in a loaf pan with a carrot & a sliced onion. I spice it with salt, black pepper & sugar, add water to cover & bake covered on 350 for an hour and a half.
You can also unwrap the loaf, slice while frozen, and bake in the oven until golden.

Baked Gefilte Fish with Peppers
Green, red, and or yellow peppers, sliced
Medium onion, sliced thin
Saute the peppers and onions until soft and then add:
½ cup ketchup
Salt, pepper, & garlic powder to taste
Unwrap fish, place in a pan. Pour pepper mixture over fish. Bake at 350, uncovered, for 2 hours. Serve warm, at room temp, or cold.

I put it in a loaf pan still wrapped and I put water 1/4 way up, cover and bake at 350 for 1.5-2hrs. Someone from imamother once posted a recipe for baked gefilte with honey and it turns out yummy! (search it if you want details)

For a different twist I think someone on that thread mentioned smearing dijon over the fish (out of the paper, in a loaf pan), add caramelized onions and bake. I don't remember if she adds water or not. Haven't made it in a while because it doesn't go over well with everybody.

I take the fish loaf out of the wrapper and place in a 9x12 foil pan. I add about a half inch of water to the bottom of the pan, to which I add a little salt and black pepper. In a frying pan, I saute diced onions, red pepper and zucchini (or any other veggies you have on hand). After about 10 minutes, when veggies are lightly browned, I add a cup of marinara sauce to the veggies and stir for a minute or two on a low flame. Then I pour this mixture on top of the fish loaf and bake covered with foil for 1 1/2 hrs., then uncover and continue to bake for another 1/2 hour. Delicious!

I spray a cookie sheet with pam, unwrap the fish, put on the tray (3 per tray, sometimes I squeeze in a fourth), then drizzle a little oil over the top, bake on 375 for 1.5 hours.
